Learning Ladders Society celebrates WAAD 2010

In 2007 the United Nations General Assembly has adopted Resolution 62/139 by declaring World Autism Awareness Day (WAAD) to be celebrated on April 2^nd in perpetuity from 2008.  The WAAD resolution encourages all Member States to take measures to raise awareness about Autism throughout society and encourages early diagnosis and early intervention.

Learning Ladders Society will  organize three events to join in the global effort in celebrating World Autism Awareness Day and help raise awareness about Autism.  The three activities planned on the 2^nd of April with the help of our event partner KatakIjau management services are:

1.      Charity Fun Walk at 7 am in the morning around the indoor stadium

2.      Launching ceremony in celebration of world autism awareness day at Kompleks Yayasan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.  

3.      A three day exhibition from 2^nd to 4^th April on Autism and ABA at Kompleks Yayasan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. The exhibition will include:

- What is Autism?

- What is ABA?

- Career with Learning Ladders Society and so on.
